Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Thrapy

(rqf )

This Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is a nationally recognised qualification and a highly sought-after qualification within the beauty industry and from employers.

We offer a 15 week fast-track course, especially designed for students that wish to do the training more quickly than undertaking a year’s course at a further educational college.

We have smaller class groups compared with a college and a focused, hands-on learning environment, which allows you to complete the course more quickly.

We are a professional Beauty School with many years of industry and teaching knowledge and experience,

which we are so excited to pass on to our learners!

What will I learn?

The objective of the Focus Awards Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (RQF) is to develop learners’ knowledge and skills as therapsits and is aimed at those wishing to enter the Beauty Therapy sector, looking at all areas of this service industry. You will learn how to become a great therapist with a wide underpinning knowledge and attitude in order to deliver quality treatments safely and effectively. You will be assessed through practical assesments plus assignments. Mandatory Units are as follows: Develop and maintain effectiveness at work Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety Provide facial skin care treatment Enhance the appearance of eyebrows and eyelashes Provide manicure treatments Provide pedicure treatments Carry out waxing services Apply make-up

How long does it take?

Our fast track course is two days per week for 15 weeks. This course is intensive and involves homework outside of centre, so you will need to attend as many sessions as possible. As with anything- the more practice you do, the better! Our groups are very small in order to ensure you get lots of 1:1 training and I will be there to help you every step of the way x

What are my career prospects?

From this course you can go and work in a salon, or even for yourself. However, I would recommend working for someone initially to gain lots of experience within industry, but that is my own personal preference! The next step would usually be to enrol on a Level 3 course, depending on where you wanted to work and which treatments you would like to specialise in.

How much does the course cost?

The course is priced at £1350 plus a £41 registration fee. Finance is available to help spread the cost up to 12 months to make this more managable.
